Our History
Teaching Life Skills through Theatre
Founded in 2023, E.T.C. emerged from the collaboration of professional theatre practitioners and educators who sought to share their passion for the arts with youth and communities. With a combined 30 years of experience in the industry, we each developed our own award-winning curricula, focusing on the transformative power of theatre. By integrating our theatre and education techniques, we aim to teach not only the art of performance but also essential life skills that arise from creative expression.
Our groundbreaking program, Educate Theatre Camp (E.T.C.), Incorporated, allows us to extend our unique curriculum and instruction across the country. Beginning as a part-time after-school and summer camp for inclusive theatre, we have since expanded to provide online and in-person training courses for teachers on inclusive theatre practices. Additionally, our arts-based primary school and increased offerings in theatre classes, workshops, and performances reaffirm our commitment to making theatre accessible to all.
At Educate Theatre Camp, we believe that theatre education is a powerful tool for nurturing creativity and talent in young individuals. Our comprehensive range of educational programs and activities in acting, dancing, and theatre production are designed to provide an adaptive theatre education experience that is fully customizable for children of all skill levels and needs. Our immersive theatre camps, educator training, and masterclasses offer a platform for students to explore and develop their passion for the performing arts.
